Hi there I'm Leigh, a Calgary- based wedding and family photographer, who's been featured in wedding magazines and exhibits, and has 8 years of Professional Photography experience. I'm so happy you made it this far!

By the way, my name is pronounced as "lei" as in garland of flowers or "lay's" potato chips! (Snacks, anyone?)

 

I’ve been in love with photography since high school, but back when I was a kid, I naturally took on the role of being our family's photographer. 

PHOTOGRAPHY MAKES ME SEE THE BEAUTY IN EVERYTHING. When I’m shooting, I’m in the zone.

I’m ME. 

 

To me, Marriage is the ultimate form of love and commitment that encompasses all relationships. Everyone can be together for a long time, live together, have a baby together or get a property together but NOT EVERYONE chooses to commit to their person and vows to love them everyday for the rest of their lives.

Choosing to create an amazing life together, as one, forever, is truly wonderful and considered rare nowadays.

Being a product of divorce, it definitely affected me and changed my life. I don't want to go down the same path as my parents so it makes me cherish and work hard on my own marriage. That’s why Weddings are so special and beautiful to me because it gives me hope that there are still people who want to give love and be there for their person no matter what. 

​

So, I want to celebrate them on one of the biggest once-in-a lifetime moment of their lives and give them amazing memories and art that is true of their love for each other!

If I’m not photographing or editing your stunning photos, I am having a quality time with my family. 

My family is the foundation and the core reason of everything I do. I love them sooo much!

My daughter is my inspiration and has always been my biggest push and purpose in life.

 

We love hiking and exploring the Rocky Mountains, rollerskating and traveling together!

I love exploring new places and culture, meeting different people, trying different kinds of food and doing things I've never done! I even did solo traveling, and it was really a fulfilling experience. Next on my bucket list? Sky diving and Bungee jumping!

 

I love our dog, coffee, bubble tea, desserts and all of my clients! They are not just business to me but new friends and extended family that I still keep in touch with!

I am very grateful to all the people who believed in me and gave me the honour of being part of their beautiful Weddings and life milestones! Know that with every photograph I take of you, you forever have a part of my heart with you!
