BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT EVER!! 🥳Thank you, Lord!!🙏

12 years ago, I was young, working in my first job at customer service, still adjusting to my first few years of new life in Canada and still confused with what I want to do with my life, somehow I wrote in my journal to start and pursue my passion — photography — and be published in a magazine as a photographer. No plans whatsoever on how to do it.. but I still wrote it down.. and NOW HERE WE ARE!! 🙌

Omg it’s so surreal when I saw my name in print! 😭😱
I wasn’t expecting it. I’m just soooo excited to be able to create for a fellow vendor— make her dreams come true and represent her own passion and art through my lenses..

but when I saw MY NAME on it?! Did you see my genuine reaction? I was so surprised!! Couldn’t believe my own eyes!! I felt like all my hardwork, sleepless nights, all the struggles, pain of losing loved ones and still showing up for my dreams and goals, juggling between motherhood and my business are all finally paying off and my dreams are coming true right before my eyes, in my own reality. 🥹

It’s such an amazing feeling!! As a photographer this is a huge milestone for me and I am very thankful. Thank you, Lord!! You are amazing 🙏

2. If you can, get a Wedding Planner. They have amazing tools to make everything easy that will lighten the load for you!
If you can’t get a planner, try to get Day-of Coordinator. Your Wedding Day is one of the biggest days of your life, you want to be focused on you, your partner and all the loved ones on your side to celebrate you. Not on the mishap happening on the behind-the-scenes.

3. Get the RIGHT PHOTOGRAPHER FOR YOU!
Why? Your Wedding Photos are the only thing you’ll be keeping for yearsssss from your Wedding. Something that will represent your life and love story to your future generations! This is your future legacy to your kids and grandkids.
Plus having the right photographer is important cause you’ll be spending with them for 8-10 hours of your Wedding Day, if you don’t like hanging out with them, everything will feel like “a drag” and whatever you’re feeling.. it will definitely show on your photos!! 💯

Being a product of divorce, it definitely affected me and changed my life. I don’t want to go down the same path as my parents so it makes me cherish and work hard on my own marriage. 1. Getting ready- It all starts with small details. Every little thing that you’ve planned from wedding invites, veil, jewelry, cards, gifts to bridal party, cuff links to big things like your wedding gowns and suit, Wedding vows and most especially your Wedding rings. These are the tangible things that represent you, you as a couple and you as soon be Mr. & Mrs! We will also of course take photos of you having fun with some of the most important loved ones that support and celebrate your love and this very special occasion in your life— your family and bridal party! Now time to pop that champagne!! YASS! 🥂
2. First Look (if you choose to)- Where the magic begins. Seeing your partner all dressed up and ready to vow being with you forever is such a dangggg amazing feeling!! This is one of the most intimate and quiet moments you can both cherish really take it all in— just the two of you—and the grandiosity of your love and commitment to each other that brought you to this exact moment🥹
3. The Ceremony- the most important part of your wedding day.. the moment you say “I DO” and vow to love each other for all eternity!!! We will capture exchanging of rings, signing of contracts and all the joy and tears in your eyes and everyone else’s! Now don’t forget that First kiss and *dip*!!!

✅ 6 Things YOU MUST DO PREPARE for your Details shots and more 👇

1. Weddings bands including engagement ring- symbolizes your love and commitment for each other— NEVER ENDING 💕. You can also include your wedding ring box, bonus points if they’re personalized on engraved!

2. Special letters- including your VOWS. Trust me it’s better to write your vows down in a letter than to read them in a text/phone. That way you can frame that letter and gift to your spouse on your first anniversary— which is paper. Just like what we did! You’re welcome! 😉

3. Wedding garter and all accessories you will be wearing - your shoes, accessories, veil, jewelry (same goes for the groom). Bonus, include your Something new, Something blue and Something borrowed!

4. Wedding Invitations- let’s be for real! 30 years from now would you still remember the day, time, venue or your wedding? (Or even wedding date for some 🤭) and that’s okkkk cause at that time there will be more important and pressing matters that would consume you—like kids or business or career or ya know.. LIFE. That’s why we take photos of these details so we can freeze this moment and remind you later on down the road and get your gift IN TIME for your wedding anniversary! 😉

5. Wedding Gown/Suit - need I say more?

6. Anything and everything customized— it could not get more personal than that! Include gifts for bridal bridesmaids and groomsmen, hangers, robes, jewelry, tumblers and gifts to parents and mooore. These are part of your planning and you took the time and energy to find the perfect gift, so let’s include those!

Yes I protect everyone’s photos cause these are your beautiful lifetime memories that you’ve entrusted me with I do not want to lose them!!
Ngl.. I actually carry my camera bag anywhere after a shoot haha! *just to be sure* 🤭

Double memory cards back up + 4 backup hard drives to make sure all your photos are safe and secure.
Is it over the top? Heck yes!!! Haha! But this is my system and these safety measures are what make me sleep at night. Who am I kidding I don’t sleep, I edit 😜
