Being a product of divorce, it definitely affected me and changed my life. I don’t want to go down the same path as my parents so it makes me cherish and work hard on my own marriage. That’s why Weddings are so special and beautiful to me because it gives me hope that there are still people who want to give love and be there for their person NO MATTER WHAT.

2. I looove traveling, outdoors and me and my husband are adventurous people so we love trying new things and doing fun stuff like hiking, camping and snowboarding! 🏂

3. Photography has always been my passion— it makes me see the beauty and everything and being able to create beautiful memories for people that is a also a meaningful art for them is how I help them! Definitely a dream come true! I’ve been on the business for 9 years this year! Woooow 😱📸 (yes this is a new IG page)

4. We moved from Toronto, Ontario to be more at one with nature and the stunning Rocky Mountains and more importantly to create a better future for our daughter! 🏔️🙌

5. I’m a sweet tooth— cake, desserts, chocolate, bubble tea, you name it! I’ll have it!! Haha 😋

6. Pizza is my comfort food 🍕

7. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. and Schitt’s creek are my comfort shows *i knoooooow* *Ew, David*

8. I’m the happiest when I’m with my family and during wedding photoshoots and any shoot celebrating you! 💖

9. I love rollerskating and roller dancing! Actually performed in Rollerskates on a stage! 🪩🛼

Road block making your vendors late? Forgetting your veil—which you thought you already packed? Sudden rain or snow that was never in the forecast?

✅ Ask your MOH or trusted family member to double-triple check the things you need to bring on the wedding venue. Always have backup plans B, C, D for unexpected weather especially our Alberta Mountain weather here—bring clear umbrellas or have a backup location for your ceremony/portraits etc. You can always ask for advice for locations or spots from your chosen photographer. Whatever you think might not happen, there’s a bigger probability that it could happen!

2. Freaking out on your Wedding due to DELAYS delays delays. There will always be a delay somewhere even in a perfectly curated Wedding timeline. Something might happen that will affect all the consecutive events of your Most Important day! No matter how perfectly detailed the plan is, it’s still a plan and no guarantee that everything will go perfectly. Make sure you have room in your timeline for adjustments and alternatives. I guess it’s one of my super powers 🦸‍♀️😉 I don’t expect your kids to behave on your photoshoot—nobody is. My daughter doesn’t. Nobody should. We’ve got to embrace the beauty of chaos, this is the NOW. This ‘now’ is what you’ll be missing once your kids are all grown up and have their own worlds, distant from us. When that time comes we’ll be wishing we could go back in time when they used to BEG us to play with them longer.. or when they asked for more tickles or when they keep showing off their new art or new trick they learned.. repeatedly. Are you getting emotional just thinking about it? Me too!! 🥺

We want to FREEZE THE NOW because all the personalities, quirks, energy, smiles and laughters (even cries) of your kids are what makes them special and unique —that’s what we’re trying to capture.

When you shift your mindset to ‘let kids be kids’ then you’ll have a more relaxed and positive energy in your family photoshoot! This will reflect in your photos. When that happens, we get to capture your family’s authentic dynamic and love for each other! Your photos would be heartfelt, have sooo much more meaning and impact to your family, especially to your kids—be it as their core memories or the legacy you leave behind. 💕🙌
